anyone know who nalini nadkarni is? i have the opportunity to have her as a professor! i am so lucky! if you have read any book on forest ecology, especially anything about epiphytes in the canopy, you would have read about her.. she has a canopy project in costa rica, she just wrote another book called between earth and sky about our intimate connection to trees- she is pretty much badass. she also spoke at the ted conference which is a huge deal. check it out:
